WHILE RESETTING

To soar like an eagle, you need to experience the process of adulting.At around 40’s, every eagle has to make a choice either death or to undergo a painful process. This process extends its life for another 30 years. This adulting stage involves the painful task of secluding itself, knocking out its beak, and plucking out its talons so that new ones will grow. It takes about 5 months for an eagle to complete this process and renew its strength.

Somewhere in the middle of 2023, while surfing through some articles this story of an eagle caught my mind. This of the Kairos message makes it evident to say, that God saw the need of resetting my life. There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens: a time to be born and a time to die. And this timeline doesn’t happen horizontally but rather in a graphical form. Riffling through such a phase of resetting, the biggest question that our mind argues is “WHY TO RESET?” but in reality, our trust in God answers us “HOW TO SAIL THROUGH RESETTING?” And through circumstances, counsels of Godly mature people, and through His word God asked;

There is a time to cry and a time to laugh, equally, there is a time to stay silent and a time to speak up. When life is on reset, we are bombed with questions like what are you doing? When will you marry? What’s your plan? but alas, our finitude doesn’t allow us definite answers. And in such a time as this, it is better TO STAY SILENT.

The Student went to the Teacher with a trembling heart and the lesson was half-done. He asked, “Do you have a new sheet, dear teacher? I’ve spoiled this one.” The teacher took his sheet, all soiled and blotted, and exchanged it with a new sheet all unspotted. And to his broken heart, He whispered, “Do better now my child.” While on reset mode, the stagnancy of life provokes us to think it’s an end but in such a time as this, KNOW IT’S NOT THE END.

The process of resetting causes much fatigues which not only results in mental and physical pain but also rip opens our emotional brokenness to spill out harsh response. Being impulsive in such a state can numb our wounded hearts and, in their finitude, it becomes obvious for someone to count us rude and arrogant. So, in such a time as this, HAVE GRIP ON YOUR IMPULSES.

God has ordained all the days of our life with a purpose that is entirely known to Him. In our submission to Him, at times He resets our life so that we can be back to the original purpose but the haste in resetting provokes us to make wrong choices. Since God is aware of this scenario of us, He has already fenced us with certain divine ethical and moral principles. Therefore, in such a time as this, DO NOT COMPROMISE WITH THOSE DIVINE PRINCIPLES.

Unlike a child with his broken toys, I took my broken dreams to God trusting Him to mend them. But instead of leaving Him at peace to work alone; I hung around to help Him to end. After a while I yelled, “How can You be so slow?” To my worried heart, He gently replied, “How could I work till you trust the Glo?”  Giving God the time to reset doesn’t limit God to the time rather it explains how meticulously He is mending and resetting us for the greater purpose. In such a time as this, GIVE GOD THE TIME.
