FB BEST CAPTION COMPETITION – 3

This time I took long to announce the winner but this time there were 25 entries and it was difficult for me to decide which one was the best. All entries were fabulous and I thank all of you to participate enthusiastically. There were few Biblical metaphors and a Bible verse which can’t be compared with other entries so they are not considered though they were absolutely fitting for the picture.

Following are the captions for the picture:

Ashrita Saran: “Arise and step out from where you are to where you need to be!”

Amiya Kumar: “Arise and awake…Be ready for struggle…But life is not an empty.” dream…make it sublime!

Kalpana Kameshwari Vogeti: “Your cocoon is no doubt comfortable but there’s more to life beyond that!”

Pratikshya Priyadarshini: “Break-through

Smruti Rekha Patra: You will never know your real self unless you break through the shell of ignorance.”

Vidhi Bomb: “Break the walls of anxiety and learn to fly on wings of hope.”

Pradita Kapahi: “*Looks at the camera* MOMMMMY”

Parimita Mohapatra: “Safe in a shell but that’s not what you are made for. Get ready to break open your comfort zone and face the unprecedented life.”😬👍

Esther Joy: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb…” Psalm 139:13

Subha Smita: “Birth is jus preliminary.. Each time u step out, you face a whole new world…” 🐣

Rain Stickland: “Limitless possibilities await.”

Subhashree Das: “He breaks & he builds!”

Namrata Patro: “Metaphor for resurrection, immortality, and the Trinity.”

Lipika Sahoo: Struggle for surviving begins!!”

Sagnika Rout: “Sometimes the start of something new begins with a goodbye… Trust the magic of beginnings!”

Isaac Mohanty: “Come out and be a living creature!”

Nerella Sima Das: “Preservation until the time Appointed!”

Preeta Bhatnagar: “Dear Future, I am ready!”

Diya Lal: “Imagining the world from dotted holes. Ready to rise.”

Sakhi Bansal: “Dwelling in Darkness made him think he’s Blind; stepping in light gave him Vision.”

Aditi Chitale Ranade: “Be brave, take the first step… then there is no looking back!”

Vipra Madaan: “Expecting the unexpected!”

It’s a delight announcing the best one which I chose to be the winner of this particular competition… Sakhi Bansals  caption impressed me more than the others as it tells the life goal of a human coming into this world and moreover it was a very wise quote so I chose it to be the best.

 CONGRATULATIONS, SAKHI BANSAL!

FB BEST CAPTION COMPETITION – 2

This picture looked easy but was kind of difficult to explain yet people have responded with enthusiasm and fun. They taught me so much by their ideas and perspectives about this picture. They talked about life, love, partners, marriage, relationships and friendships. I thoroughly enjoyed it. Hope my fellow authors and bloggers will enjoy them as well.

Following are the entries:

Avinash Das: “‘Q & A’ – Questions in life is like that black coffee ‘Raw – Few people like it – Incomplete – Unapproachable Look’ but Answers to those life’s questions brings the real taste – real look – approachable to all”

Sreepriya Menon: “Like black tea and milk, they blend together to make a family.”

Shrabani Tripathy: LIFE HAPPENS….TEA & COFFEE HELPS..😃

Pradita Kapahi: “He and she never agree…If he likes it black, she likes it sweet. But he and she can’t live without the other.. and that, in love, is what matters.”

Kalpana Kameshwari Vogeti: “Hold your cup and opportunities well before there’s a slip.”

Nerella Sima Das: “Contents in the cup 🏆 and the colour of the shirts are not same..whereas Sitting together and Holding the cup 🏆 in the same way..that’s all about the harmony of friendship 😊.”

Subha Smita: “‘U & Me’ – Different but always together..

Esther Bardhan: “We Agree to Disagree: When Perspectives Merge at Love.”

Preeta Bhatnagar: “‘Love = Respect each other’s choices’
So, I don’t want you to change for me, I love the way you are.”

Ipsita Patra:Whole and Soul is Life…”

Subhashree Das: “Hot & Cold no lukewarm.”

Gregory G Lewis: “Whether black or white, it’s all coffee on the inside.”

Vidhi Bomb: “Life is part coffee beans and part tea leaves. Dark and dreary sometimes, subtle and beautiful the other times.”

Geetmalini Sahu: “‘As u lyk it’ – sum lyk black & strong coffee ; while sum others prefer coffee creamy n blended with milk.”

Sony Abhishek Rout: “Life is about options. Options co-exists. Our choice, is what matters in the end.”

Arpita Mohanty: “Two aspect of life – i.e. Bitterness and Sweetness.”

Kuljeet Saini: “Life is black and white… It’s up to us to paint the colors in it…”
I don’t want to delay announcing the best one which I chose to be the winner of this particular competition… Esther Bardhan’ caption impacted me more for her simple, sweet yet very profound thought about any relationships, mostly about marriage.

 CONGRATULATIONS, ESTHER BARDHAN!

FB BEST CAPTION COMPETITION – 1

It was Friday and I was kinda bored. I thought let me have some intelligent fun competition on FB. So, I posted a thought-provoking picture on my Facebook timeline asking my friends and relatives to write a caption (a word, few words or a sentence) describing that picture. And the results were berserk…

Preeta: “Everything is here, yet it’s incomplete!”

Pradita: “Game of Thrones – Mini!”

Prabhjot: “Hogwarts!”

Kalpana: “Free Yet Slaves!”

Rima: “Once upon a time…in a faraway land…!”

Ashrita“Castles can be built when you lose trap of the virtual world and embrace verity!”

Smruti Rekha: “We’d rather be incarcerated in the fortress of virtuality than perceive the reality!”

Aditi“Building Castles in the Virtual World” – a harsh but real tweak to the old idiom “Building Castles in the air!”

Sreela: “Westeros!”

Rain: Access to the World!”

Avinash: “Chained!”

Gregory: “Where’s the bathroom?”

Kuljeet: “Ok so that’s the virtual castle my kids visit everyday…!”

Parimita: “iCastle on an iPhone: Crush the Castle to unlock!”

Abhinanda: “Imagination – There are no rules of architecture for a castle on the phone!”

All the entries or the captions were excellent and meaningful in their own ways but out of those 15 entries, Preeta Bhatnagar‘s caption moved me. It was absolutely simple, meaningful and well framed. Thus, I chose that as the best and am declaring her as the winner of this contest. I had promised earlier of a surprise reward for the best caption, so she will be receiving a Candles Online Poster Certificate as the winner of the competition.

Congratulations, Preeta Bhatnagar!
